Our Story
At Bestowing Hope Foundation, we believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Our organization was founded by a group of women in Uganda who wanted to make a difference in the lives of girls in underserved communities. Only 22.5% of girls in Uganda enroll in secondary school. Oftentimes, girls in underprivileged communities lack the necessary skills to change the trajectory of their lives. To address this need, we provide scholarships, mentorship, skills development, and community engagement projects to help girls succeed in school and in life. Our mission is to empower girls to become self-sufficient, confident, and successful women.
